FAQ'S
1. Why should I bother?

How much time have you spent training new
employees, only to have them leave (or not show up)
when they're the least bit discontent?

The value for you is found in the time, energy,
money, and frustration you'll save.

***Entry level employees can easily cost you over $3000.00
to hire, onboard and train. More experienced and skilled
employees can cost over 5x that much.***
2. Who is Todd?

I've run several of my own businesses over a 24 year
period, led in several other organizations and was a
youth director in a non-profit for 12 years.

I've coached and trained over 2500 managers, foremen,
and supervisors during the past 14 years.
When I coach or teach, it's based on real principles that I use
in real time in the organizations I coach and in my own businesses.

The GAP is the difference between what you need and expect
when you hire someone, and what Gen Z is actually bringing to your workplace.
I see this GAP every day, and I work with real leaders to help fill it.

3. Shouldn't I be able to expect employees
to be ready to work when I hire them?
It feels like I'm taking on the roles that parents
and teachers used to fill.
10 years ago you could have expected employees to come
with a solid grasp of the basics: showing up on time, some
people skills, and some problem solving ability.
Over the last decade many parents and teachers have not
prepared Gen Z for the workforce.

For this younger generation of employees to get to where
you need them to be, you are going will have to invest in them.

But when you do, you'll find that they'll respond with growth
when someone like you cares enough to put in the effort to teach them
what they need to succeed in their career.

This means their value as an employee continues to increase
- providing value to you and your company
instead of continually costing you time, energy, effort
and causing frustration among your staff.
4. Is it possible to "weed out" the employees who
I shouldn't hire in the first place?

Definitely. There are 2 opportunities that are often missed
or ignored when it comes to employees.

The first is the actual hiring process.
It's critical to identify the "red flags" with potential hires
and let them find employment somewhere else
saving you a world of frustration and expense!

The second opportunity is the probationary period.
This can be anywhere from 90 - 180 days and is the best time
to challenge new hires to see "what they're made of".
You have the opportunity to fire without cause during this time
- it's a gift - use it wisely and well.

"Fill the GAP" provides the direction and tools
that will help you make full use of these opportunities.
5. Where am I supposed to get the time to implement
"Fill the GAP"? I'm already going flat out!

"Fill the GAP - for Employers" is written specifically for busy
leaders.
The chapters are stand alone, meaning you can choose
the chapter first that's the most critical to your success
right now and focus on it.

Because "Fill the GAP" is set up as a template,
you don't have to figure out how to apply the principles,
that's already done for you - you just follow the template.

Each chapter gives you a principle, a real-life example,
and an exercise to help the lesson "stick".
